A project dedicated to learning materials with Maya and Photoshop.
The making of these required flat lighting of the real object to take quality photos. These photos were then moved into photoshop where I created a seamless texture. Some lighting was also adjusted in each.
Once I had my color maps I created black-and-white duplicates for the specular and bump maps. Some slight adjustments for each and I ran the bump through a normal map generator.
The last map was the displacement which was just another B/W image with some darker adjustments to push in the "fabric". Maps were set in place with the Maya Hypershade and then came all the tweaking. Scene Lighting (HDRI), Sheen, and Subsurface were played with the most across all the project materials
